I had purchased a Grinch mask and a onesie for another event that never happened. Word got out that I still had it, so I was asked to wear it to read to kindergarteners at Short Line School. More invitations came, and another leg of my author platform was born. I have since upgraded the costume and will include reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas or any other book to your class. I could also come just to greet and pose for pictures with students or classes.
